Nestled against the eastern slopes of Table Mountain, Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden is one of the world’s great botanical gardens and a jewel of Cape Town’s natural heritage. Spanning 528 hectares, the garden showcases South Africa’s extraordinary indigenous flora, including fynbos, proteas, cycads, and rare plant species found nowhere else on earth.

Visitors can enjoy a leisurely stroll through beautifully landscaped gardens, shaded forests, and open lawns with breathtaking mountain backdrops. A highlight is the Boomslang Canopy Walkway, an elevated bridge that winds through the treetops, offering sweeping views over the gardens and Cape Flats.
