Exploring Montalcino and Pienza from Florence in Italy was a delightful experience, especially savoring the rich flavors of brunello at a local vineyard. The scenery was breathtaking, and the knowledgeable guide made the history of the region come alive; however, I would have appreciated a bit more time in Pienza to soak in its charm.

Pienza was a highlight, where we enjoyed the local pecorino cheese, perfectly paired with our wine selections. The only improvement we would suggest is to allow a bit more time for exploration in each town, as we felt a little rushed at times. Overall, it was an unforgettable day filled with great company, delicious wines, and beautiful sights.
