We had a fantastic time exploring the Hill of Crosses, which left a lasting impression on us with its eerie beauty and history. While the trip moved at a brisk pace, squeezing in Vilnius and Trakai meant we sometimes felt rushed between stops.

Our day exploring the Baltic region was filled with memorable highlights, especially visiting the mesmerizing Hill of Crosses. The itinerary was well-organized, giving us ample time to stroll through Trakai’s picturesque castle grounds and soak in the vibrant atmosphere of Vilnius. One aspect we appreciated was the guide’s deep knowledge, which brought each site to life with fascinating stories. However, we did feel a bit hurried at times, particularly when transitioning between locations. Overall, this adventure captured the essence of the region beautifully and left us with plenty to discuss on the way back to Riga in Latvia.

The day trip from Riga took me through stunning landscapes, especially at the Hill of Crosses where the sheer number of crosses really left an impact on me.
