Day 1 ATHENS – NAUPLION (140 km– 2 hrs)

Leave by the coastal road along the Saronic Gulf to the Corinth Canal, which connects the Aegean with the Ionian Sea (short stop). Drive to Mycenae, visit the Lion's Gate, the Cyclopean Walls and the Treasury of Atreus. Driving through the fertile plain of Argolis, depart for Nafplio. Free afternoon to enjoy the city, the first capital of Greece, dinner and overnight in Nafplio.

Overnight in Nauplion. 

Day 2 NAUPLION – ATHENS (140 km– 2 hrs)

After breakfast at the hotel, you have free time up to mid-day to explore the city on your own. The must-see is the visit to Palamidi Castle. Mid-day you leave for Epidaurus to visit the Theatre (4th century B.C.) famous for its astonishing acoustics and you return back to Athens.
