Coricancha: An impressive example of a blend of Incan and Colonial architecture. The original complex was dedicated to the veneration of the sun and it was one of the most important temples in the Inca Empire. After the arrival of the Spaniards in Cusco, the temple foundations and walls were used as a base for the construction of the convent of Santo Domingo.

Exploring Machu Picchu and the shores of Lake Titicaca was a breathtaking experience, especially our overnight stay in Cusco, where the vibrant culture came alive in the evenings. While the itinerary was packed with incredible sights, we occasionally felt rushed during transitions between locations, which detracted slightly from the overall enjoyment.

From the moment I set foot in Lima, I was swept away by the vibrant culture and stunning landscapes. Visiting Machu Picchu was the highlight, as the breathtaking views left me in awe, especially while savoring delicious local dishes like ceviche during the journey. Exploring Cusco was equally enchanting; the blend of Incan history and colonial architecture was truly captivating. However, I did find the pace a bit rushed at times, which made it challenging to fully absorb everything. Lake Titicaca’s serene beauty provided the perfect contrast, allowing me to unwind after a packed itinerary. Overall, this adventure was a remarkable way to experience the heart of the Andes.
