Wrapped up warm, depart from your El Calafate hotel in the morning in a heated vehicle. Following a scenic drive past numerous Patagonian ranches, arrive at Lake Roca and board a boat for a scenic cruise.

Admire a unique combination of landscapes before your trek begins through the unspoiled virgin forests surrounding Lake Frias. On arrival at the lake, board a motorized boat and start the second part of your advanced hike after disembarkation. In the Glacier National Park, sparkling shards of ice are juxtaposed with the vivid blue of the sky. Drink in the frozen tableau and ever-changing glacial landscape and gaze at the peaks of the Cubo, Grande, and Dickson glaciers.
Return to El Calafate
After the tour of the park, we will return to the city of El Calafate. This is the end of the services.

We had a fantastic day trekking through stunning landscapes, especially when we reached a breathtaking viewpoint overlooking the ice formations. While the navigation was generally smooth, we found some trails could have used clearer markings, which slowed us down a bit.

The trekking experience was unforgettable, especially when I found myself standing atop a rocky outcrop, gazing at the massive ice formations glistening in the sunlight. I loved how the guide emphasized safety during navigation while also sharing fascinating insights about the local environment. The only downside was that the trail became a bit crowded at times, which slightly distracted from the serenity I was hoping for.
