    Your private driver will pick you up in the morning from your Athens hotel, the airport, or the Piraeus port, and you’ll set off on a scenic drive to Delphi—one of Greece’s most significant ancient sites.

    We’ll begin our journey along the national highway toward northern Greece, passing through the plains of Thiva and the town of Levadia. Before long, we’ll ascend the slopes of Mount Parnassus, leading us to the legendary site of Delphi.

    We’ll continue to the ancient site of Delphi, a renowned Panhellenic sanctuary dedicated to Apollo. Once home to the famous oracle, Delphi was regarded as the “navel” — the very center of the world. Today, it stands as a powerful symbol of Greek cultural unity. Its stunning setting offers breathtaking, tranquil views of the surrounding mountains.

    On-site, you can explore the mystical Temple of Apollo, where the Pythia delivered her prophecies, as well as the ancient theater and the stadium.

    From the Breathtaking Meteora Back to Athens

  • we’ll set out to explore the monasteries and take a closer look at the awe-inspiring “holy rocks.” Perched high above the ground—hence the name Meteora, meaning “suspended in the air”—this site is home to one of the largest and most significant complexes of Eastern Orthodox monasteries still active today. Meteora’s blend of natural splendor and spiritual heritage makes it a truly unique destination among the world’s great landmarks.

    Optional Visit: Stop at the Monastery of Roussanou for a different perspective of the surrounding cliffs and nearby monasteries. From there, follow the path leading to the upper main road, where you’ll discover a hidden panoramic viewpoint—perfect for walking on the bare rocks and taking in the breathtaking scenery.

    Optional Visit: The Holy Monastery of Agios Stefanos is one of the few female monasteries in Meteora. While the exact date of its construction is unknown, evidence suggests it was built in the 15th century. The monastery’s Catholicon is adorned with beautiful frescoes, created in 1560.
