Why we love it?

This private sailing tour offers a two-hour exploration of Kavala’s scenic coastline, revealing the city’s maritime history from the water. Starting at the Port of Kavala marina, you’ll sail past the amphitheatrical Old Town with its colorful hillside houses beneath the castle of Kavala, then cruise along the Panagia peninsula, known locally for swimming and diving. Key landmarks include the Kavala Lighthouse, Panagia Church, the statue and house of Mohamed Ali, the Kamares aqueduct, the wooden fishing boat shipyard at Karnagio, and the Broken Bridge, each visible from the sea. The route continues westward to Kalamitsa Beach, the city’s largest urban beach, before anchoring at Batis Beach for a chance to swim or relax on deck with provided snorkeling and SUP equipment. This tour suits travelers interested in a calm, reflective experience of Kavala’s coastal heritage, with options to add fishing activities or extend the cruise for a deeper connection to the Aegean waters.
