Suitable for families with children over eight and those comfortable with moderate hiking, this route is not accessible for those with mobility issues or joint problems. After the hike, participants can choose to return to Malaga or continue onward to Cordoba, Seville, or Granada.

Itinerary

Pick up hotel / apartment

08:30 h. Pickup from your hotel or apartment for a private transfer to the El Torcal Visitor Center.

Torcal de Antequera

Upon arrival, at approximately 9:30 a.m., we begin the hiking route on an easy, family-friendly trail called "Ammonites." Along the way, we pass various points of geological and paleontological interest where we discover various fossil remains, as well as the sinuous shapes left in the rock by erosion over millions of years. The route takes approximately 3 hours. It is a circular route of approximately 5 km.

IMPORTANT: Not accessible for people with reduced mobility. The difficulty level is low, but the terrain is rocky, and appropriate clothing and footwear are required. Not recommended for people with hip, knee, or ankle problems. Not recommended for children under 6 years old.

Antequera

After the hiking route, we will head to the city of Antequera for lunch. After lunch, we will climb to the Alcazaba for stunning views from the hill before returning to the hotel in Malaga.

Transfers to Seville, Córdoba, or Granada are available.

Málaga

At around 3:30 p.m. we returned to Málaga.
