After breakfast at our hotel, we depart by road for Lake Naivasha. Our accommodations are located right by Lake Naivasha, a freshwater lake. We visit Elsamere - the former home of the late Joy Adamson who, together with her husband George, became world-famous for their pioneering conservation work and relationship with the Lioness Elsa, as told in her best-selling book and subsequent film: Born Free.
Lunch at our lodge. We take a boat ride to Crescent Island. Many different types of animals are found on the Island as we take a walk with the expert resident naturalist. Giraffes, waterbucks, wildebeest, Gazelles, Impala, and Dik diks’ can be seen during the walk. We retire back to aur cosy accommodations in Naivasha.

After a delicious breakfast, we travel overland to Lake Nakuru National Park for a full day game viewing experience. Lake Nakuru National Park also offers sanctuary to huge numbers of native African animals including waterbucks, warthogs, impalas, buffalo, Rothschild giraffes, elands, endangered black rhinos, white rhinos, and, occasionally, leopards.
A large herd of hippos has a territory in the northern part of the lake, making for interesting game viewing. Lunch will be served at one of the lodges located in the game park, offering its own local specialties, served with fresh produce from the region. After lunch we enjoy an en-route game drive back to our Lodge in Naivasha.

This morning we depart the hotel after breakfast and drive through the dramatic Great Rift Valley to the Masai Mara Game Reserve. Lunch at Keekorok Lodge and relax before departing for the afternoon game drive. The Mara Game Reserve is one of the greatest wildernesses in the world. Large mammals are varied and easy to see. Resident are Masai Giraffe, Buffalo, Eland, and thousands of plain games including Impala, Zebra, Topi, both Thomson's and grants Gazelles. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Our full day in the Masai Mara Game Reserve will be spared for the search of the big cats of the Masai Mara and the spectacular view of the famous migration. All of the "Big Five" animals (elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos, and buffalo) can be spotted here. Herds of plains zebras are found throughout the park. Other animals include giraffes, jackals, gnus, warthogs, gazelles, hartebeests, hyenas, bat-eared foxes, Topi antelope, hippos, and crocodiles in the Mara River.
For bird lovers, the Mara birds come in every colour and size. More than 400 bird species have already been recorded, including birds of prey. You can enjoy a colourful view of birds such as vultures, ostriches, long-crested eagles, pygmy falcons, secretary birds, marabous, red-winged Schalow's turacos many others.

If you are not participating in the hot air balloon you enjoy morning tea/ coffee or hot chocolate followed by a morning game drive. On the plains are enormous herds of grazing animals plus the elusive Cheetah and leopard hiding amidst acacia trees. Return to the lodge for breakfast.
Optional visit to an authentic Masai village (at an extra cost) to witness the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. Depart the Mara by road back to Nairobi arriving in the late afternoon.
