Chongqing to Chengdu High-Speed Rail Tour: One-Day Panda Base Excursion

Our driver will pick you up from your hotel in Chongqing at around 5:30 am and then take you to Chongqing West Railway Station.

You will be traveling by high-speed train from Chongqing to Chengdu, departing at 6:41 AM (subject to availability) and arriving at 7:56 AM (subject to availability). The price includes pick-up and drop-off service and train ticket.

Our guide or driver will be waiting for you at the exit.

The Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding is the world's largest ex-situ conservation, scientific research, breeding, and public education park for giant pandas. Giant pandas are China's unique national treasure, with an 8 million-year evolutionary history, earning them the title of "living fossils" and making them friendly diplomatic envoys representing China to the world. Established in 1987, the park simulates a native mountain forest ecosystem, home to over 260 captive giant pandas of different ages. It comprehensively showcases the entire process of giant panda breeding, rearing, and rewilding conservation. It has twice won the United Nations' highest environmental honor, the "Global 500," and is a national 4A-level tourist attraction and a globally renowned panda-themed cultural and tourism landmark.

The visit lasts approximately 3-4 hours. We offer guided tours in English or Spanish (other languages ​​can be booked in advance upon inquiry). The guided tour and park admission are included. The park's key attractions include the Moon Nursery, the Sun Nursery, the Cub Giant Panda Villa (the home of the popular panda Hua Hua), the Red Panda Viewing Area, the Giant Panda Museum, and the bamboo shoot-shaped panda tower. The best time to watch the pandas eat and play is from 7:30 to 10:30 in the morning.

After the tour, our driver will take you back to Chengdu East Railway Station, where you will board your train to Chongqing. The train departs at 16:29 and arrives in Chongqing at 18:30. Our driver will be waiting at Chongqing Station to take you back to your hotel.
