Our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel.  

TIAN'ANMEN SQUARE + THE FORBIDDEN CITY

8:30-11:30 TIAN'ANMEN SQUARE + THE FORBIDDEN CITY 

We will drive to Tian'anmen Square, one of the largest city squares in the world. Pass through the big gate with Chairman mao's Portrait, we will visit the Forbidden City(2.5h).

The Forbidden City is a palace complex in central Beijing, China. It houses the Palace Museum, and was the former Chinese imperial palace from the Ming dynasty to the end of the Qing dynasty (the years 1420 to 1912). The Forbidden City served as the home of emperors and their households and was the ceremonial and political center of Chinese government for almost 500 years.

FREE TIME

11:30-12:30 FREE TIME 

After the visit of the Forbidden City, you will have about 1 hour free time to have lunch.

THE TEMPLE OF HEAVEN

13:00-14:00 THE TEMPLE OF HEAVEN 

After lunch, we will go to the Temple of heaven.The Temple of Heaven was visited by the Emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties for annual ceremonies of prayer to Heaven for good harvest.(1h)

THE SUMMER PALACE

15:00-17:00 THE SUMMER PALACE 

We drive about 40 minutes to Summer Palace. It was an imperial garden in the Qing Dynasty. Mainly dominated by Longevity Hill and Kunming Lake, it covers an expanse of 2.9 square kilometres three-quarters of which is water.(2h)
