Meet your guide at 8:00 am in your Beijing hotel lobby and start the tour by driving 1.5-2 hours to see the Great Wall at Huanghuacheng. It was built from 1404 to 1592 and divided into three parts by a reservoir. You will first walk about 30 minutes nearby the lake and then cross the Ming Chestnut Orchard to get on the actual Wall. After hiking on the Wall, you will take a speed boat to leave.
Stop 2Drum Tower
After lunch, drive back the city and continue to explore the old part of Beijing. You will first go up the Drum Tower to have a panoramic view of old Beijing neighbourhood and some other iconic buildings in Beijing.
Stop 3Houhai lake and Yandaxiejie
Then walk around Houhai lake and Yandaxiejie, two famous sights with locals and travelers.
