Step 2

Our first stop will be Uçhisar Castle, the highest natural rock formation in the region. From this breathtaking vantage point, you’ll enjoy a panoramic view of Cappadocia’s valleys and fairy chimneys. Your guide will share fascinating stories about the castle’s history and explain how this unique landscape was shaped over millions of years by volcanic activity and erosion.

Zelve Open-Air Museum

is one of Cappadocia’s most impressive valleys, once home to a lively community of cave dwellings, churches, and monasteries. As you walk through its tunnels and rock formations, you’ll discover how people once lived and worshiped here, surrounded by stunning natural scenery.

Step 4

Kaymaklı Underground City is one of the largest and deepest underground settlements in Cappadocia, dating back to the 7th–8th centuries. As you descend through its five interconnected levels, linked by narrow tunnels and stone-carved stairways, you’ll explore ancient wineries, churches, kitchens, storage rooms, and animal stalls. While you wander through this remarkable labyrinth, your guide will share fascinating stories about how people once lived, worked, and found refuge here centuries ago.

Step 5

Our final stop will be at a breathtaking viewpoint in Uçhisar, overlooking the famous Pigeon Valley. From here, you can admire the sweeping views of the valley dotted with countless pigeon houses carved into the soft volcanic rock by ancient inhabitants. Your guide will explain how these unique dovecotes were once used to collect pigeon droppings for fertilizer and why pigeons played such an important role in the region’s agricultural life.
