Itinerary
Step 1
From Izmır to Pamukkale.
The Pamukkale Travertines
located in Denizli, Turkey, are one of the world’s most unique natural formations. They consist of bright white terraces made of calcium carbonate, created by thermal spring waters flowing down the hillside for thousands of years. As the hot mineral-rich water cools, it deposits layers of limestone, forming the dazzling snow-white cascades that resemble frozen waterfalls.
Visitors can walk barefoot on designated areas of the terraces and even bathe in the warm, mineral-rich pools, which are believed to have healing properties. The surreal beauty of the travertines, combined with the ancient ruins of Hierapolis above them, makes Pamukkale a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Turkey’s most iconic natural wonders.
Step 3
Pamukkale and Hierapolis together are listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, attracting visitors from all over the world for their unique blend of natural beauty, historical significance, and therapeutic thermal waters.
Step 4
End of the tour.
