Arusha National Park Day Tour: Walking Safari and Canoeing

Morning: Departure from Arusha 7:00      AM: Our Guide will pick you up and you Depart from Arusha      city. It’s only about a 30-minute drive to the park entrance and after      check in process, proceed into the park.Morning Safari: 8:00      AM - 10:30 AM: Start with a morning game drive. Arusha      National Park is home to a variety of animals, including giraffes, zebras,      buffalos, and elephants. The park also has a large population of birds,      making it a great spot for birdwatching. You can visit the Ngurdoto      Crater (sometimes called the "Mini Ngorongoro") for stunning      views and wildlife sightings.Mid-Morning: Walk with a Guide 10:30      AM - 12:00 PM: Go on a guided walking safari. This is a      great opportunity to get up close to nature and learn about the ecosystem      and its inhabitants from a local guide. The walk is generally safe and      allows you to observe smaller wildlife like monkeys, various bird species,      and unique plant life.Lunch: 12:30      PM - 1:30 PM: Enjoy lunch at a scenic spot in the park.      Many day trips include a packed lunch to be enjoyed in one of the      designated picnic areas, where you can relax and take in the surroundings.Afternoon: Canoeing or Another Game Drive 1:30      PM - 3:00 PM: Head over to Momella Lake for a canoe      ride. The lake is home to hippos and many bird species, and you can enjoy      the serene atmosphere while paddling through the water.Late Afternoon: Explore the Park’s Views 3:30      PM - 5:00 PM: Before heading back to Arusha, take some      time to explore the views from the park’s Mount Meru foothills. On      a clear day, you’ll have great views of both the mountain and the park's      diverse landscapes, from forests to grassy plains.Return to Arusha: 5:30      PM - 6:00 PM: Head back to Arusha, arriving in time for      dinner or to relax after your adventurous day.
