Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival In Nairobi
  • giraffe center

    Arrive at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, where our representative will be waiting to receive you. After a short brief, transfer to your city hotel for check-in. After relaxation and lunch, head out for the Nairobi City Tour. Get to visit the giraffe center, Karen Blixen Museum, Kobe Tough Beads & Leather, and a walking tour of the city center. Head back to the hotel for dinner and overnight. Optional Game Meat Dinner at the Carnivore Restaurant.

Day 2

Drive to The Aberdares National Park

  • This morning after breakfast, your guide will pick you up and you drive to the Aberdare National Park. On arrival, check in at the camp. Spend the afternoon at leisure. Head out for an evening game-viewing drive at the park.

Day 3

Game Drive at The Aberdares

  • Enjoy a morning and evening game-viewing drive and excursions in the forest. Animals to be seen include the Lion, Leopard, African elephant, African Hunting Dog, Giant Forest Hog, Bushbuck, Mountain Reedbuck, Waterbuck, Cape Buffalo, Suni, Side-Striped Jackal, Eland, Duikers Olive Baboon, Black and White Colobus Monkey, and Sykes Monkey. Rarer sightings include those of the Golden Cat and the Bongo – an elusive forest antelope that lives in the bamboo forest. Enjoy a sundowner in the evening after the game drive and later dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 4

Drive to Nairobi
  • animals not previously spotted

    Enjoy an early morning game drive to see animals not previously spotted. Head back to the lodge for breakfast. Check out and depart for Nairobi. Drop off at your residence or airport.
