Itinerary
Step 1
9:00 am - Your guide will pick you up from your hotel in Ahmedabad or a pre-arranged meeting point. From there, you will embark on a 1-hour drive to Adalaj Stepwell, located in the village of Adalaj.
Step 2
10:00 am - Upon arrival at Adalaj Stepwell, your guide will provide an overview of its history and significance as one of the most impressive stepwells in Gujarat. You will then explore the intricate carvings and architecture of the stepwell, which was built in the 15th century by Queen Rudabai.
Step 3
11:00 am - After exploring Adalaj Stepwell, you will continue on to Rani ki Vav stepwell, located in the town of Patan. The drive from Adalaj to Patan takes about 1.5 hours.
12:30 pm - Upon arrival at Rani ki Vav, you will take a break for lunch at a local restaurant. Your guide can recommend some popular dishes from the region to try.
Step 4
1:30 pm - After lunch, you will explore Rani ki Vav stepwell, which is known for its impressive architecture and intricate carvings. Your guide will explain the history and significance of stepwells in the region and provide insights into the stories and legends associated with the site.
Step 5
3:00 pm - After exploring Rani ki Vav stepwell, you will begin the return journey to Ahmedabad.
4:30 pm - You will arrive back at your hotel in Ahmedabad or a pre-arranged drop-off point, where your tour will conclude.
