Itinerary
Step 1
This tour begins by heading to the West Side Highway in Manhattan’s West Side, where you can see the Intrepid Aircraft Carrier, the Trump Building Complex and the Hudson River, which separates the states of New York and New Jersey.
Step 2
We will visit the exteriors of the Cotton Club, famous for being the scene of great jazz and blues artists
Step 3
Then we will head to the legendary Apollo theater, where stars like Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, Aretha Franklin, the Jackson Five and Celia Cruz debuted.
Step 4
The visit continues with the exteriors of the famous Columbia University.
Step 5
We will walk through the picturesque houses of Harlem knowing their history very closely to understand how this neighborhood went from austerity to poverty
Step 6
Approaching the famous home of Mrs. Clara McBride Hale, known as Mother Hale.
Step 7
We will move to the grave of Ulysses S. Grant who was a prominent Union general in the Civil War and a key player in the victory against the Confederacy. He became the 18th president of the United States, pushing for Reconstruction and defending civil rights. He is recognized as an essential figure in the political and military history of the country.
Step 8
We will enter one of the Baptist temples, where you can enjoy the traditional gospel Mass with its chants and customs
Step 9
This tour ends at 59th Street (Midtown Manhattan).
