Begin your eco-friendly adventure in Hoi An by joining the local community initiative, "The Timeless Hoi An". Here, you will craft recycled paper bags from newspapers while enjoying complimentary coffee and tea. This hands-on experience highlights the importance of sustainability in daily life.
CoCo Casa
Next, head to the Tamboo Bamboo Workshop, located on the outskirts of the picturesque Coconut Palm Village. You will have the opportunity to create your own bamboo memento and discover the variety of household items artisans can craft from this versatile material.
Afterward, visit Coco Casa, where “Coco” refers to the Co Co River, and “Casa” means house in Spanish. The ethos here focuses on reducing waste through recycling and upcycling driftwood left behind by floods, along with waste wood from the Kim Bong carpentry village. As you explore, admire beautiful household products like wooden wall murals, decorative statues, and unique kitchenware.
Tra Que Village
Our final stop is the charming Tan Thanh fishing village, where locals promote eco-friendly tourism and zero-waste practices. Conclude your tour with a delightful meal at a restaurant in Tra Que Village, savoring the freshest organic produce Hoi An has to offer.
