Itinerary
Step 1
8:00 AM - Pick up from your hotel in Goa: Your driver will pick you up from your hotel in Goa to start your full-day excursion to Belgaum. Belgaum is located approximately 150 km away from Goa, and the journey is expected to take around 3 hours, depending on traffic conditions.
Step 2
11:00 AM - Arrival in Belgaum: Upon your arrival in Belgaum, you will start your day tour by visiting the famous Belgaum Fort. The fort has a rich history and is known for its impressive architecture and historic significance. You will explore the fort, visit the ancient temples and mosques within its premises, and learn about the history and cultural heritage of the region.
Step 3
12:00 PM - Visit Kamal Basti Jain Temple: After exploring the Belgaum Fort, you will proceed to visit the Kamal Basti Jain Temple, which is a prominent Jain pilgrimage site in the region. The temple is known for its beautiful architecture, intricate carvings, and serene ambiance. You will have the opportunity to offer prayers and learn about Jainism, one of the oldest religions in the world.
Step 4
1:00 PM - Lunch break at a local restaurant.

Rajhansgad Yellur Fort one of the most impressive historical places to visit in Belgaum. Archaeological sources reveal that this fort has been ruled by many royal clans of India namely Marathas, Peshwas, Hoysalas, and Bahamanis. Perched high on a hill, one can enjoy trekking up to the fort and admire the spectacular views of the lush green surrounding. Moreover, there is a sweet water well and an ancient Shiva temple, located at the hilltop.
After sightseeing drive back to Goa and drop off to your hotel.

2:00 PM - Explore local attractions: After lunch, you will have some free time to explore other local attractions in Belgaum. You can visit the popular Belgaum Railway Museum, which houses a collection of vintage locomotives and railway artifacts, or explore the lush green gardens and parks of the city like Kamal Basti Garden or Sambhaji Udyan. You can also take a stroll through the local markets and indulge in some shopping for local specialties.
Step 7
4:00 PM - Depart from Belgaum and begin return journey to Goa: After your free time, you will begin your return journey to Goa, with an expected arrival time of around 7:00 PM. Your driver will ensure that you are dropped off at your hotel safely and comfortably.
7:00 PM - Arrival back at your hotel in Goa: You will be dropped off at your hotel in Goa, marking the end of your full-day excursion to Belgaum.
