Itinerary
Step 1
7:30 am: Pick up from your hotel (center district 1) depart to Ben Tre
Step 2
Stop en route to enjoy a delicious bowl of Hủ Tiếu Mỹ Tho – a signature local noodle soup made with pork, shrimp, and rice noodles
Step 3
- Disembark at Quy Islet, a peaceful rural area surrounded by lush fruit gardens.
- Visit a local home garden, explore seasonal fruit orchards (rambutan, guava, longan, etc.).
Step 4
- After the visit, we’ll sit down to enjoy tea and fresh fruits, chat with the garden host, and learn about the unique culture and lifestyle of the Mekong Delta locals
Step 5
- 11:30 am: take a sampan ride through small canals, Experience the most iconic activity of the Mekong: a peaceful ride on a traditional sampan (wooden rowboat).
Step 6
- 12:00 am: Lunch at a riverside garden restaurant. Enjoy a delicious home-style meal with local specialties. Relax in hammocks or stroll around the garden after lunch
Step 7
- 14:00 pm: Try making a simple traditional cake, such as bánh lá dừa (coconut sticky rice cake in leaf) or bánh bông lan
