Itinerary
ITINERARY
Pick up from your hotel, departure by land towards the Curimaná district.
- Arrival at the district, here we will have time to have breakfast and then head towards the port where the captive raft is located. Depending on the weather we will change from the van to a truck.
- We will cross the Aguaytía River on the raft with the vehicle on us for five minutes, then we will continue the journey for thirty minutes until we reach a mestizo hamlet.
- In the Bello Horizonte hamlet our aquatic adventure will begin. We will first navigate the Aguaytía River for 35 minutes.
- The Aguaytía River is a Peruvian body of water, which runs through the department of Ucayali. It has its origin in the Yuracyacu River coming from the Cordillera Azul between the departments of San Martín and Loreto.
- Then we will enter to navigate another river called Pindayo, here the navigation takes 20 minutes, we will see different species of birds, in the summer season you can observe the variation of colors between these two rivers.
- After navigation we will arrive at a point on the banks of the river to begin the 40-minute walk through the jungle. During the walk we will discover some species of flora and hopefully also fauna.
- We will meet a particular tree known as Boa Caspi, this we will find during the walk to the waterfall.
- We will be arriving at the Regalia waterfall, its name comes precisely from the gift that nature gave us when creating this beautiful waterfall within the Ucayalina jungle, Regalia means gift.
- Here we will enjoy this natural, unique and refreshing space.
Then we will return to Pucallpa
