Itinerary

Step 1

Our starting point! We will offer you useful information to know before our tour and get to know each other.

Step 2

We will take beautiful and impressive photos of the beautiful Bay of Cartagena, rarely visited by tourists, but very visited by boat owners.
We will share curious and updated information about the Bay of Cartagena and Manga Island.

Step 3

We will make a photo stop to take a picture of ourselves in front of the fort's guard post that protected Manga Island and the water channel towards the San Felipe de Barajas fort.

Step 4

We will visit points of greatest historical and artistic interest within the Getsemani neighborhood, and we will stop to hydrate in preparation for the route to the Bazurto Market. We will take photos, of the art on the walls and the colorful streets of the Getsemani neighborhood.
This is a humble, but very colorful and important neighborhood that has earned a place as one of the "coolest" neighborhoods in the world according to Forbes and Travelers Magazine.

Step 5

The largest fortress built by the Spanish in the American Hemisphere during the conquest, colonization and governance of Latin America.

Step 6

At the highest point of the emblematic city of Cartagena de Indias is the first fortress and surveillance point. We will be able to see it for much of the way and as we get closer we will appreciate its imposing presence.

Step 7

We will enter the fascinating culinary world of the Bazurto Market; visited by ANTHONY BOURDAIN during his search for real Cartagena food for the filming of "No Reservations".
There we will delight ourselves with the flavors of an exotic cuisine, but accessible to the most humble diners. We will discover the flavors that are part of the culinary art of an almost mythical place where very few tourists access. Your palate will be impressed with the condiments and cooking style of Cecilia Restaurant and others around it.
That's why Culinary Critic and Chef Anthony Bourdain made it his favorite during his trips to Colombia!

humble, hard-working community that struggles to survive. As we walk through its streets, we will discover what is the way of life of the true resident of Cartagena.
