Exclusions

  • Lunch and dinner whilst in Kathmandu and Pokhara.
  • Travel insurance which covers emergency high-altitude rescue and evacuation.
  • Round trip air ticket from/to Kathmandu.
  • Nepal entry visa; you can obtain a visa easily upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. (Tourist Visa with Multiple Entries for 30 days can be obtained by paying US $40 or equivalent foreign currency. Similarly, Tourist Visa with Multiple Entries for 90 days can be obtained by paying US $100. Please bring 2 copies of passport size photos)

Itinerary

Day 1

  • Welcome to Nepal! Whether you arrive today or are already in Kathmandu, we’ll transfer you to your hotel and provide a briefing about the trek (if time permits). Spend the rest of the day exploring the city or relaxing.

Day 2

  • Enjoy a scenic drive to Pokhara, the city of lakes. The journey offers views of lush landscapes, rivers like Trishuli and Marshyangdi, and glimpses of village life.

Day 3

  • After breakfast, a one-hour drive takes you to Kande, where the trek begins. Hike uphill through scenic trails to reach Australian Camp, offering stunning views of Annapurna, Machhapuchhre, and Manaslu ranges.

Day 4

  • Today’s trail descends to Pothana, ascends to Deurali, and then winds through lush forests filled with oak, maple, and rhododendron trees until you reach Forest Camp.

Day 5
  • Climb gradually through forested trails before emerging onto a ridge

    Climb gradually through forested trails before emerging onto a ridge. Snow may blanket the trail during winter. Enjoy close-up views of Annapurna South and Machhapuchhre.

Day 6

  • After an early breakfast, continue uphill along grassy ridges above the tree line. The views improve as you gain altitude.

Day 7
  • Start early to reach Mardi Himal Base Camp

    Start early to reach Mardi Himal Base Camp. Enjoy panoramic views of Annapurna and Machhapuchhre. After soaking in the scenery, descend past High Camp to Badal Danda.

Day 8

  • Descend through Forest Camp to Landruk, a traditional Gurung village with views of Annapurna South.

Day 9
  • The final trekking day takes you downhill to Syauli Bazar

    The final trekking day takes you downhill to Syauli Bazar. From there, drive back to Pokhara and celebrate the completion of your trek.

Day 10
  • Return to Kathmandu by tourist bus

    Return to Kathmandu by tourist bus. In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner at a traditional Nepalese restaurant with cultural performances.

Please Note

  • Not wheelchair accessible
  • Two clients share one porter. We will supply you a trek duffel bag where you keep your heavy items and this bag is carried by the porter. You will need to bring your own daypack to be carried by you. In the daypack, you can put money, important documents, water bottle/bladder, camera, toiletries, sunscreen, notebook, etc.
  • The weight limit for the porter is 30 kg or 66 pounds. 15 kg or 33 pounds for each client. So, we recommend you to pack as carefully as you can and not exceed the weight limit. You can leave your non-trekking stuff at the locker facility in the Kathmandu hotel.
