Pick up from your hotel or airport and drive to Tsavo West National Park. Arrive in time for lunch and afternoon game drive. The sight of dust-red elephant wallowing, rolling, and spraying each other with the midnight blue waters of the palm-shaded Galana River is one of the most evocative images in Africa. This, along with the 300 kilometers long Yatta Plateau, the longest lava flow in the world, makes for an adventure unlike any other in the Tsavo East. The park forms the largest protected area in Kenya and is home to most of the larger mammals, vast herds of dust –red elephant, Rhino, buffalo, lion, leopard, pods of hippo, crocodile, waterbucks, lesser Kudu, gerenuk, and the prolific birdlife features 500 recorded species.

Leave Tsavo West National Park to Tsavo East National Park
Have your hot buffet breakfast, then check-out of your camp with a game drive en-route to cross the other side of Tsavo East National Park which is noted for its vast elephant herds and a variety of games including black rhinos, long-necked gerenuk, zebra, waterbuck, and crocodiles. The game drive starts immediately upon entry and explore the park the whole morning hours before you proceed for lunch in Voi Safari Lodge or similar.
After lunch, relax as the climate and the weather in Tsavo is hot in the afternoon as you wait to go for the afternoon game drive as from 2:30 to 6:30 p.m., return to Voi Wildlife Lodge for dinner and overnight
