Please Note
- The time shown on the website or on your ticket is the approximate start time of the activity and not the time when you will be picked up from your hotel (or closest meeting point). At least a few days before the date of your activity, you need to make sure to contact the tour operator to confirm your pick-up location and pick-up time. To confirm your pick-up location (meeting point) and your pick-up time, please send an e-mail to [ ] at least a few days before the date of your activity. Make sure to include your booking reference number in the e-mail. Drivers must be at least 21 years old and must present a valid driving licence (original or copy) and another legally binding identification document (original only), such as an identity card or passport. Failure to present any of these documents will result in forfeiting the tour. No refunds will be given to any guests who fail to present any of the required documents. Passengers must be at least 4 years old; therefore, children and infants under the age of 4 years (0–3.99 years) are not accepted on this tour. Although children (4 years and older) are accepted on this tour, we do not recommend this activity for very young children. We depart from Malta at approximately 09:30 a.m. from the Ċirkewwa Quay, with arrival in Gozo at approximately 10:00 a.m. The quad bike tour starts at approximately 10:30 a.m. The duration of the quad bike tour (excluding any land and sea transfers) is approximately 6 hours, from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Guests residing in Malta will be back at their accommodation or original pick-up location by approximately 5:30 p.m. Crossing to and from the island of Gozo will be done by a private powerboat exclusively reserved for our clients. This is always subject to weather conditions and other operational considerations; if this is not possible, the crossing will be done by the communal Gozo Channel ferry (ferry tickets are also included when required). Upon our arrival in Malta, you will be picked up once again by one of our minivans, which will drop you off at your original pick-up location. Our return trip to Malta includes a 20-minute powerboat ride passing by the stunning Blue Lagoon and Comino Sea Caves (weather permitting). The 20-minute powerboat ride is not included for guests staying in Gozo; at the end of the quad bike tour, guests residing in Gozo will be transferred directly to their accommodation. A swim stop at a gorgeous bay in Gozo is included during high season (usually from April till October); do not forget to bring your swimwear. The boat trip at Dwejra Bay is not included in the price of your package; the boat trip is optional (to be paid on location) and can only be done subject to favourable weather conditions. The cost is around €6 per person; however, please note that the fee can change without prior notice. A helmet and disposable hairnets will be provided to all guests. All guests (both driver and passenger) are legally obliged to wear helmets while driving the quad bike. All fuel costs are included. All vehicles are insured on a fully comprehensive basis. In case of an accident, loss, or damage to the vehicle, guests will only be liable to pay the insurance excess fee. The fee depends on the insuring company and could be anything between €300 and €400 per vehicle. A credit card will be required as a guarantee for insurance excess fees, traffic fines, or contraventions. Guests will need to sign an indemnity form and complete our quad bike inspection form before starting the tour. This is a self-drive tour; you will be following a tour leader who will be driving a separate quad bike or a different vehicle. Drivers must always follow the tour leader. Racing, overtaking, or any other dangerous manoeuvres are strictly prohibited. Should you not follow the above-mentioned rules, the quad bike will be confiscated. No refunds will be given to any guests not abiding by these rules. The maximum seating capacity on our quad bikes is 2 people (one driver and one passenger). This tour is available daily, all year round. People with heart problems, back problems, and pregnant women are not allowed to participate in this tour. The tour is not recommended for travellers with mobility impairments. The itinerary or programme is subject to change without prior notice, depending on weather conditions, restrictions, unforeseen circumstances, or other operational constraints.
