Itinerary
Step 1
We will pick up all the guests in Hanoi Old Quarter from 07.30 to 08.00 AM. Please be ready at your hotel/apartment/Airbnb's lobby, our tour guide will call out your name on booking.
If you stay outside Hanoi Old Quarter, please come to our meeting point: Hanoi Opera House or our Travel DESK office: Authentic Hanoi Travel for pick up.
Step 2
Visit the Dinh King Temple and Le King Temple from the 10th century, and hear about the heroic histories of these two Kings during the Chinese Wars.
Being the capital of the first fundamental Government of Vietnam, Hoa Lu witnessed many important historical events: the union of Vietnam after “12 Lords Rebellion”, the war with the Song dynasty, the defense against the ancient Cambodian, and the formation of Hanoi nowadays. With the total size of 13.87 square kilometers, Hoa Lu old capital is an attractive place that history lovers should not miss out
At around midday
sit down for a buffet lunch at a local restaurant, before you head to Trang An Wharf to take a boat trip along Trang An Stream. Visit Trang An cave complex, including Sang Cave, Toi Cave, Ba Giot Cave, Nau Ruou, and marvel at the scenery of mountains and rivers.
Step 4
Visit Mua Cave. Climb 500 stone steps to see all the way to Tam Coc, and enjoy a stunning panoramic view of the countryside and Ngo Dong river. Literally, Mua Cave welcomes every tourist in every single period of the year. However, according to experienced travellers, dry season (often from April to September) would be a more appropriate season thanks to its comfortable weather and low precipitation. Especially, if visitors can come to Mua Cave in May or June, they will have a high chance of seeing a breathtaking picture, in which the enormous “golden” paddy fields and majestic mountainous scenery create a harmonious combination.
Step 5
Finally, hop back onto the bus to return to Hanoi, arriving back in the early evening.
