Itinerary

Step 1

Depart from Tbilisi at 09:00 in the morning in the direction of Jvari Monastery, visit the 6th century Jvari Monastery, which is located on the top of the mountain and overlooks the confluence of the Mtkvari and Aragvi rivers.

The city of Gori

Step 3

Uplistsikhe is a stone city built in the third century AD. Uplistsikhe is built on the eastern side of the Mtkvari River and its function was to protect the city and it was a large trading city. Listen to its legends and stories.

Visit a Georgian restaurant near Uplistsikhe and taste our traditional dishes.

Step 5

At the end of the tour, head to Mtskheta, the ancient capital, visit Christian shrines. Mtskheta is mentioned as the second Jerusalem where the robe and shirt of Jesus Christ are kept. Which was the throne city of our kings.
