The ancient town of Zhujiajiao is like a lustrous pearl studded on the Dianshan Lake and cloaked with the beauty of the lake and the hills. The town is crossed by numerous rivers, along which run 9 long and narrow streets and stand a thousand ancient buildings of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. A total of thirty six ancient stone bridges span the rivers, leadingyou to a number of historic sites.
