Itinerary
Choose pick up point in Reykjavik
You will start your Icelandic adventure from the convenient pick-up locations around the city. Pick up starts at 08:30 and can take up to 30 min.
Thingvellir
Start with a scenic drive in Superjeep/modified small bus to Þingvellir National Park, where Iceland’s first parliament was founded in 930 AD. Þingvellir is also a geological marvel—here, you can see the rift between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates. This unique blend of history and geology earned it a place on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2004.
Geysir
Continue to the Geysir geothermal area, where you'll see vibrant yellow sulfur, red iron-rich rocks, and pale silica deposits. Strokkur erupts every 4–8 minutes, shooting water up to 25 meters into the air, while the original Geysir remains dormant. Before heading to the next location, you’ll have the chance to buy a quick lunch on-site.

To the Glacier: We head toward Langjökull, the “Long Glacier,” where each turn reveals breathtaking new scenery. Once inaccessible, this majestic glacier is now within reach thanks to our powerful, specially designed Red Glacier Truck, offering a smooth and safe ride to the top.
Stories Along the Way: Enjoy fascinating insights from our expert guides, who share stories of local folklore, glacial science, and the unique geology of Iceland.
Ice Cave Exploration: Step inside the glacier itself and explore a stunning ice cave, where layers of crystal-clear ice are streaked with black volcanic ash from ancient eruptions. The deep blue tones of compressed ice and frozen ash create a surreal, otherworldly atmosphere—like walking through frozen history.
A Photographer’s Dream: Capture unforgettable moments inside the ice cave or outside on the vast, snowy expanse of Langjökull, with panoramic views that stretch as far as the eye can see.
Return to Gullfoss: After your glacier adventure, we return to Gullfoss waterfall.
Gullfoss
Marvel at Gullfoss, the spectacular “Golden Falls,” as it thunders into a dramatic gorge below. Walk right up to the edge along the viewing paths to feel the power of the falls up close—the roar of the water, the mist on your face, and on sunny days, rainbows dancing in the spray. It's a moment you won’t forget.
Back to Reykjavik
After an unforgettable day of adventure, we’ll relax aboard our comfortable Superjeep/modified small bus for a scenic journey back to Reykjavík—what a day to remember!

- Pick-up is operated in a Superjeep or modified mini-bus. Please be ready at your designated pick-up location at 08:30. The pick-up window can take up to 30 minutes. The pick-up and Golden Circle tour are operated by Arctic Adventures. If your pick-up is delayed beyond the window, please call [ ].
- The Golden Circle Tour part is operated by our partners. Driver guides narrate during the drive and allow guests to explore independently at each stop (Thingvellir, Geysir, Gullfoss)
- We reserve the right to modify the itinerary due to weather and road conditions. This might result in that some stops at the highlights are shortened, or during high winter due to short daylight hour are held when it is already getting dark.
- The operation of this tour depends on the conditions of the glacier. Due to sudden and unexpected weather changes, the monster truck experience might be canceled after the tour departs from Reykjavík
- Bring with you some snacks/packed lunch and water. While we stop along the way at Geysir to buy food before boarding the Monster Truck, but there might be limited time for that.
