Itinerary

Day 1 Welcome to Sri Lanka

Your private chauffeur-guide will meet you at Bandaranaike International Airport or your hotel in Colombo/Negombo. After a warm welcome, transfer to your hotel in Negombo. Spend the rest of the day relaxing or exploring:

Day 2 Dambulla Cave Temple

The Dambulla Cave Temple is located 24 km (30 min) from Sigiriya in central Sri Lanka. Built in about 80BC It is the largest and best preserved cave temple in Sri Lanka. Inside are 153 Buddha statues in various reposes, three statues of ancient kings, and four other statues including those of Vishnu and Ganesh. The ceiling and walls have been repainted over the centuries contain a juxtapose of imagery including those of royal life.
Minneriya National Park Safari
Famous for large herds of wild elephants and open grassland landscapes, perfect for a late-afternoon safari.

Day 3 Sigiriya The Ancient Rock Fortress

Climb the ancient 5th-century rock citadel with its colorful frescoes, landscaped gardens, and sweeping panoramic views.
Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic Kandy
Visit the revered Buddhist temple that houses a sacred relic believed to be the tooth of the Buddha.
