4 Days and 3 Nights: El Calafate & El Chalten Majestic Wonders

Let the adventure begin! Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to your 4-star accommodation.

In the afternoon, you can choose to join the Optional Native Cave Experience, an immersive journey through history and nature.

If you do not select this option, your day concludes after the airport transfer (dinner not included).

For those who join the experience, the adventure begins along the shores of Argentino Lake, where a 4x4 vehicle will take you to breathtaking viewpoints and ancient caves adorned with indigenous rock art.

As the sun sets, enjoy a delicious dinner inside a cave, a one-of-a-kind experience that blends history, adventure, and local flavors.

Rest up—tomorrow, the majestic Perito Moreno Glacier awaits!

Your day starts with a drive to Los Glaciares National Park, where expert guides will introduce you to the wonders of Perito Moreno. At Puerto Bajo de las Sombras, board a boat and sail across Lago Rico, admiring the glacier’s imposing south face.

Upon arrival, mountain guides will lead you to a scenic refuge, where your trek begins. Walk along the shoreline, watching for ice calvings, before reaching the glacier’s edge for a short briefing. Then, strap on crampons and step onto the ice for a unique adventure across crevasses, shimmering blue sinkholes, towering seracs, and turquoise lagoons.

After the trek, take in panoramic views from the lateral moraine, then hike through the Andean Patagonian forest. Back at the refuge, enjoy a hot drink and receive a souvenir before cruising back for one last breathtaking look at Perito Moreno’s ice walls.

The day concludes with a visit to the glacier walkways, where you’ll have an hour to soak in the stunning vistas of this natural wonder.

You can choose to join our Full-Day El Chalten adventure. 

The excursion to El Chaltén operates only from October to April due to weather conditions. Outside of this period, we’ll be happy to replace it with another memorable activity that suits your preferences.

If you do not select this option, will have a free day at your leisure (lunch not included).

As the day unfolds, the trail will lead you to some of the best vantage points in Patagonia, where you’ll be treated to sweeping views of the region's iconic landscapes.
