Itinerary

Step 1

The Pyramids of Giza are three large pyramids located on the outskirts of Cairo, Egypt. They were built more than 4,500 years ago as tombs for pharaohs Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure. The largest is the Great Pyramid of Khufu, standing over 480 feet tall and comprised of more than 2 million stone blocks. The pyramids were built using advanced engineering and mathematical skills and remain one of the world's greatest architectural achievements. They continue to attract millions of visitors each year.

Step 2

The Great Sphinx of Giza is a massive limestone statue that stands on the Giza Plateau in Egypt. It is believed to have been built during the reign of Pharaoh Khafre in the 26th century BCE. The statue depicts a mythical creature with the body of a lion and the head of a human, possibly Khafre himself. It measures 66 feet tall and 240 feet long, making it one of the largest and oldest statues in the world. The Great Sphinx is surrounded by mystery and intrigue, with scholars and explorers trying to decipher its purpose and symbolism for centuries. It remains one of the most iconic and enigmatic landmarks of ancient Egypt.

The Egyptian Museum

is a museum located in Cairo, Egypt that houses one of the world's largest collections of ancient Egyptian artifacts. It was first established in 1835, and has since grown to contain more than 120,000 items, including the treasures of Tutankhamun. The museum's collection is organized chronologically, with exhibits featuring pharaonic eras, Greco-Roman antiquities, and Islamic art. Some of the most notable exhibits include the mummy room, which contains the remains of various high-ranking officials and royal figures, and the Royal Mummy Hall, which houses the remains of some of Egypt's most famous pharaohs.
