Day 3 03 Dat Rour To Wasgamuwa

DAY 01 - Colombo To Wasgamuwa
- Breakfast at the hotel
- Leave Colombo and proceed to Wasgamuwa via Knuckles region
- Arrive at Riverstone area and enjoy botanical environmental beauty with the backdrop of Knuckles Range
- Riverston is one of the most beautiful hilltops of the knuckles mountain range. Here you can experience a heavenly feeling when the mist sets in a climate that’s cold and breezy.
- Visit Pitawala Pathana and Small Worlds End.
- Have a River Bath in Thelgamu Oya at Illukkumbura.
- Arrive at Wasgamuwa
- Wasgamuwa is well known for its abundant wildlife population, Situated in matale district, wilderness setting, and home of several interesting ancient sites. Wasgamuwa is distinguished from other parks by having a full complement of predators of which bears are particularly noteworthy. Ecological research undertaken in the park suggests that the density of bears in Wasgamuwa is probably higher than anywhere else in Sri Lanka.
