Itinerary
Step 1
Lyrarakis Wines is run by the second-generation winemakers, supported by an extended family of skilled professionals.
They have devoted themselves to the revival of rare grape varieties of Crete , their portfolio features more than 11 indigenous varieties, with three saved from extinction.
As sustainability advocates, they transitioned to organic viticulture in 2020 and part of their regenerative approach,they have stopped ploughing the ground and only use their own fertilizer made of organic waste from their kitchen, the winemaking process, and the nearby oil mills.
Step 2
The third generation of the Paterianakis family, Emmanuela and Niki, are continuing the wine tradition of organic farming, creating authentic Cretan wines with a strong personality.
Their goal is a balance between tradition and modern technology. We cultivate biodynamically and organically, with an absolute respect for nature, and they produce wines using the most modern methods in order to express the uniqueness of the Peza wine region in the most natural and authentic way.
Step 3
visit an oilive oil mill , learning all about olive oil and the cultivation of the olive trees as well as the pressing methods.

- we can pick you up from your hotel or at the meeting points we will be waiting for you with a sign with the lead travellers name on it. For the cruise ships passengers the tour adjusts so they will return in time for boarding
