Itinerary

We meet up outside Hlöllabátar, facing Ingólfstorg Square and the two tall stone pillars.

Our first stop is at Gyllti Kötturinn

There we try to spot Baktus the Cat, probably the second most famous Cat of Iceland (After the Christmas Cat of course)

We walk to a bookstore to look for the Christmas Cat

Legend tells us that the Christmas Cat can sometimes be found in this excellent downtown book store

We visit a hidden garden and learn about Cat's in Icelandic Folklore
We check out the Reykjavik Pond

We visit  the beautiful Reykjavik Pond 

The backstreets of Reykjavik, checking out cats

The Reykjavik Cat Coffee House

There we sip on some hot drinks and taste Icelandic pastry while petting some cats

We talk about Cats in Norse Mythology and more

Our Final stop is at the Sculpture Garden of Einar Jonsson

There are some cat related sculptures in the Garden and if we are furr-tunate enough we will see some downtown cats there.
