Siwa Oasis from Marsa Matrouh
Early Morning Departure:
Hotel Pickup: We will pick you up from the front of your hotel in the early morning, and your adventure begins!
Tour of the City of Shali:
Start with a tour of the city of Shali, where you can explore ancient buildings made of salt and mud. While some structures are still used for living, they are dilapidated due to the materials used, offering a unique glimpse into the past.
Visit the Temple of Amun:
After exploring Shali, we’ll move on to the Temple of Amun, dating back to the 30th Dynasty. This ancient temple was also famously visited by Alexander the Great, adding to its historical significance.
Lunch at Cleopatra's Spring:
Next, we will visit Cleopatra's Spring, where you can relax and enjoy a delicious lunch in a serene setting.
Hot and Cold Spring & Salt Lake:
After lunch, we will visit the hot and cold springs, followed by a visit to the salt lake, where you can experience the unique natural properties of the area.
Sunset at the Top of the Dune:
The day will culminate with a stunning sunset at the top of a dune, offering breathtaking views of the desert landscape.
Return to the Hotel:
After sunset, we will head back to your hotel, with an expected return time around 9:00 PM(depending on the distance from your hotel).
