Itinerary

Day 1 Day 01: BALLESTAS ISLANDS + HUACACHINA

Departure from lima by bus
- Reaching to Paracas we go to El Chaco port, located in the Bay of Paracas. From this place you will go to Paracas Island in moderns’ boats where you can enjoy a beautiful view of Islands, and you will appreciate the amazing environment and the marine wildlife as Sea lions, Humboldt penguins, black cormorants called guanay, and different types of marine birds. The Sea lions will probably be swimming around the boat and you could see penguins in the sea. Thousands of marine birds which you will see flying between islands and their nest on the rocks.
- Free time for souvenir shopping, walking, breakfast and others.
- Travel in tourist mobility to Ica.
- Arrival in Ica and visit to the “El catador” winery (wine and pisco tasting).
- Get your adrenaline flowing on a small-group dune buggy and sandboarding tour in Huacachina. The excursion begins with a thrilling 4WD ride through the dunes. With an experienced driver behind the vehicle's wheel, you’re free to let go and embrace the adventure. At the top of the dunes, you can give sandboarding a try.
- Transfer to the hotel.
- Night of accommodation (in Huacachina)

Day 2 Day 02: NAZCA LINES OVERFLIGHT

Breakfast
- Transfer from Ica to Nazca.
- Transfer to the María Reiche airfield and/and start of the overflight of the Nazca lines. We will board a small plane that will fly over the mysterious Nazca Lines. During this flight, you will be able to see perfect representations of geometric figures, drawn in the desert, which can only be appreciated from the air. You will be able to observe up to 12 of the most enigmatic figures for 35 minutes: 1. The Whale, 2. Trapezoids, 3. Astronaut, 4. Monkey, 5. Dog, 6. Condor, 7. Spider, 8. Hummingbird, 9. Alcatraz/ Flamingo, 10. Parrot, 11. The Hands, 12. The Tree.
- Transfer from Nazca to Ica.

The order of the excursions may vary depending on weather conditions, river level, arrival or departure time, or any other relevant reason.It sometimes happens that the sea is too rough to visit the Ballestas Islands by boat. If a weather report announcing a storm, we may cancel the boat tour around the Ballestas Islands for security reasons. In this case a financial reimbursement will be refunded to you (S/.40)Excursion in buggy and sandboard have a duration of 45mn. The buggy is only driven by the professional driver .For a sandboarding standing position, a professional boards are available for rent for an extra fee in HuacachinaFor this tour, tour guides do not necessarily speak a Perfect English. Take the opportunity to develop your Spanish!The flight lasts about 35 minutesThe time of the flyover depends on weather and air traffic. The Overflight is carried out in shifts approved by the aerodrome according to weather conditions and air traffic (average waiting time 40 minutes). In case of bad weather conditions not allowing the flight of the plane, a refund of USD $70 will be made. ------------Maximum weight limit is 100kg. Passengers exceeding this weight must purchase an additional seat.
