Itinerary
ITINERARY
We will meet at our meeting point to start this tour in the surroundings of Ayacucho.
- The Qorihuillca Canyon, located northwest of the city of Ayacucho, about 40 minutes away, is one of the best kept secrets of this destination.
- We start at the Qorihuillca canyons where we will begin rappelling 50 meters with all safety measures.
- The trail, which passes through the middle of a large crack formed by the passage of a river that eroded the terrain, is 2 km long and can be covered in two hours.
- We will pass through illuminated places and others that are completely dark, underground.
- We will have the opportunity to see different insects, so it is important to follow the guide's instructions to know which ones are dangerous and which ones are not. Also, if we are lucky, we can see some bats in the caves.
- Continuing with the tour, we will come to the surface through a ravine that we will have to climb to get out onto the plain, where we will do a short trek to where our vehicle will be waiting for us to return to Ayacucho and finish the activity.
