Itinerary
Departure from El Calafate
At 9 AM, a transfer will pick you up at your hotel to begin the excursion to the Nibepo Aike ranch.
El Calafate - Nibepo Aike ranch
Once we arrive at the ranch, we will enjoy a sheep shearing demonstration and gauchescas tasks. Then we will taste a delicious traditional lunch with salads, Patagonian lamb, fine wines and crêpe de dulce de leche.
El Calafate - Perito Moreno Glacier
Set off on an easy hike through beech forests towards a viewpoint. On arrival, you’re rewarded with incredible views of the Perito Moreno Glacier, the area’s only advancing glacier.
Board a boat for a ride on the lake’s turquoise water and sip whiskey over glacier ice with chocolates, listen to the deafening crash of ice chunks, many the sizes of automobiles, as they plummet into the icy water beneath. Then, continue to Bajo de las Sombra to spend time discovering the glacier at leisure. Gaze upwards intermittently to catch a glimpse of gliding condors.
Return to El Calafate
Then, we will return to the city of El Calafate. This is the end of the tour.
