When you approach Lake Manyara National Park from the east, the Rift Valley escarpment looms on the horizon forming an impressive backdrop to the lake. In the tall trees of the ground water forest, monkeys leap from branch to branch, and on the escarpment, elephants stand in the shade. The meadows along Lake Eyasi's shores and forest are home to a wide variety of wildlife including leopard, hippos, a variety of monkeys, various birds, greater and lesser flamingoes, storks, and pelicans. Further highlights of this 6-day safari include the world-famous Serengeti National Park, archaeological site Olduvai Gorge and the natural wonder Ngorongoro Crater.

You will be accompanied by a professional guide during the trip. Serengeti National park is famous for its massive annual migration of wildebeests and Zebra, seeking new pasture and the herds move North from their breeding grounds in the grassy Southern plains.

Day 4 Afternoon drive to Ngorongoro crater via Oldupai Gorge

Afternoon drive to Ngorongoro crater via Oldupai Gorge

You will be accompanied by an accredited guide, as you pass via Oldupai Gorge on your way to the crater, you will get a chance to see "Cradle of Mankind" because it is believed to be the site of the first human beings to walk on Earth. On arrival to the Crater, you will now see "The largest intact caldera in the world". Some maintain that before it erupted, It would have been higher than Mt. Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa.

You will be accompanied by a professional guide during the trip. This is one of the best places because currently, all the African big 5 can be seen in the crater. these include the black rhinos, elephants, lions, buffalos and leopards.

Our professional guide will accompany you during the whole trip. You will now see what is also known as a wonderful birding destination and also features large numbers of game, particularly during the dry season, when the Tarangire river is the only source of water.
