Enhanced with special effects such as leg ticklers, water spray, air blasts, scents, and moving seats, this amazing 3D film utilises new-generation 5D cinema technologies and features a detailed audio commentary in 17 different languages. Designed to appeal to all ages and attract a diverse audience, this innovative, informative, and exciting experience offers an enjoyable combination of education and entertainment.
Take an enchanting voyage through time and discover the thrilling events that shaped Malta’s history. Over the course of the show, you will witness the events that shaped the history of the Maltese archipelago, from the formation of prehistoric temples to the victory of the Knights of Malta at the Great Siege of 1565 to Malta’s heroic efforts during World War II.
In addition to the show, you can also view the temporary exhibitions about Malta, which are often on display in the lobby of the theatre.

The theatre is wheelchair accessible. You can use your entry ticket on the day you have booked at any hour within the opening hours of the Malta 5D theatre. The entry ticket shall be valid for a one-time entry only; no reentry is allowed. The Malta 5D theatre is open every day from Monday to Sunday, all year round, excluding Christmas Day (25th of December) and New Year's Day (1st of January). Monday to Saturday: shows screening every 30 minutes from 10:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. (last show). Sundays and public holidays: shows screening every 30 minutes from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. (last show). Public holidays in Malta are on the following dates: 1st of January (theatre is closed), 10th of February (theatre is open until 2:00 p.m.), 19th of March (theatre is open until 2:00 p.m.), 31st of March (theatre is open until 2:00 p.m.), Good Friday (date changes according to the liturgical calendar; theatre is open until 2:00 p.m.), 1st of May (theatre is open until 2:00 p.m.), 7th of June (theatre is open until 2:00 p.m.), 29th of June (theatre is open until 2:00 p.m.), 15th of August (theatre is open until 2:00 p.m.), 8th of September (theatre is open until 2:00 p.m.), 21st of September (theatre is open until 2:00 p.m.), 8th of December (theatre is open until 2:00 p.m.), 13th of December (theatre is open until 2:00 p.m.), 25th of December (theatre is closed).
