5 Day Kenya Safari to 3 Amazing wildlife and Lake Parks

On arrival at JKIA in Nairobi, you will be met by our representative. Depending on your arrival time, we will either take you to your hotel in the city or depart for a drive into the Great Rift Valley and on to Lake Nakuru National Park in the late morning.

The lake Lake Nakuru and surrounds make an ideal overnight stop en route to lake Naivasha and Hells Gate National Park or Masai Mara The flamingoes are a pink mass that forms into shapes as you approach. The lake is saline and has rich blue-green algae and diatoms that lesser flamingoes feed on. Together with them, it is possible to see up to 450 species of birds: hundreds of pelicans, spoonbills, yellow-billed storks and more.The ecosystem provides for about 56 different species of mammals including the white rhino, buffalo. The park is remarkable with international fame as an animal sanctuary where both black and white rhinos are being given a new lease on life in this park.

Check in at Lake Nakuru Lodge in time for lunch. A game drive in the evening will include a walk by the shores of the lake to get up close with the great birds found here.

Wildlife of Lake Nakuru

Have an enjoyable breakfast at the lodge, paying attention the sights and sounds of the park before proceeding for a drive in the park. In the late morning, you will head to the Lake Naivasha, a fresh-water lake that is a popular tourist spot. Check in at Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge and relax after lunch. Home to stunning natural beauty, an abundance of wildlife, and a laid-back pace of life, Lake Naivasha is among the favorite stops on your  Kenya  adventure itinerary. It is an essential stop on any Kenya safari tours. 

The Sopa Lodge at the lake offer beautiful natural spaces where you can see numerous bird species in the trees as well as spot some animals, ranging from waterbuck to warthog. You may also go for a one-hour boat safari during which you get to see some of the lake's wildlife such as hippos as well as enjoy the picturesque views of the lake and surrounding highland landscapes.

We’ll be up early to enjoy the light breaking over the forest and lake, hearing the birds, and seeing the animals come to life. Enjoy an early breakfast followed by the drive to the Masai Mara.

With the expanse of the Masai Mara National Reserve spread out before us, you’ll know you have arrived at a special place. It is Kenya’s most popular park. The reserve is world-famous for its incredible density of wildlife, and during the great migration (July – October), an unending torrent of gazelle, wildebeest, and zebra stream into the park. It is home to all of Africa’s Big Five and so much more.

Arrive at the park for lunch at Mara Sopa Lodge. Enjoy an afternoon game drive to track elephants, leopards, cheetahs, lions, and buffaloes. Drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

A hot air balloon will be done early this morning followed by a champagne breakfast served in the jungle. Today we have best times to spot animals as they are most active hunting for prey. This is the time that the big cats are are out in their variety and numbers and can provide some of the most dramatic sightings & photography, thanks to the beautiful skies and landscape. If you are fortunate enough, you will catch lions during one of their rare bouts of daytime activities and it’ll be fascinating to watch the social interaction between pride members, especially the playful ways of lion cubs under the watchful eyes of their mothers. Lunch in the lodge or campside.

Your guide will then taken you to the nearby Maasai village after lunch where you will get a chance to see the Masai way of life. Return to the camp or lodge, relax in the pool, sip on fresh Kenya tea or hung around with family and friends.

Dinner buffet will be served amidst traditional Masai dance and song.

Have an early morning drive followed by a scrumptious breakfast before your departure back to Nairobi. Arrival will be in the afternoon when we will drop you off at the airport or the place of your residence within the City.
