What is RT-PCR - It stands for “real time reverse transcriptase Polymerase Chain Reaction”. It is a highly sensitive method of detecting viral genetic molecules, and the most effective in detecting covid 19. Most importantly airlines also require this test for international travel.
What is a Rapid Test - This test detects protein fragments specific to the Coronavirus. It can be done in a clinic, and turnaround time for results is usually very quick. This is accepted for domestic travel and for some international travel (Please check with your country)
What is Included - We include appointment at our clinic, covid test with same day or next day results. Results include 1 lab report with your name and information and a separate Fit 2 Fly Certificate for RT-PCR Tests
How is the covid test done - A swab is taken from the nostril and at the back of the throat.
How long before the result - Your sample will be analysed on the same day it is received. The result will be sent to you via email, and you can also come to the clinic to get a hard copy. Rapid Antigen results are available in clinic.
