Local foods in Hue are renowned and beloved by tourists visiting the city. These cuisines are popular and can be found on nearly every street, representing a unique culture that is shared with every visitor.
We will start by tasting Hue’s specialty—"Banh Khoai," a crispy pancake often referred to as a "happy cake" because its folded shape resembles a big smile, much like a taco. Next, we will explore the nightlife in Hue as we stroll through the charming streets to another restaurant for "Bun Bo Hue," the famous beef vermicelli soup. While originally from Hue, this dish has gained popularity throughout Vietnam.
Then, we will visit a small, family-owned restaurant to sample an array of specialties, including "Banh Bot Loc" (filtered tapioca dumplings), "Banh Beo" (water fern cake), "Banh Nam" (steamed shrimp rice cake), and "Banh Ram It" (sticky rice dumplings topped with fried dumplings), paired with refreshing iced green tea for an authentic experience.
After savoring the famous dishes of Hue, we will take a leisurely walk in the area for sightseeing, shopping, or enjoying even more Hue specialties.
