    Day 1 Hanoi - Overnight Train to Lao Cai - Sapa

    9:00 pm : You will get pick up at hotel (in old quarter area. If you are outside of old quarter, please contact us for more detail). Then transfer to Hanoi Railway Station and catch the night train to Lao Cai station (Lao Cai province).Train leave at 10 PM.  Types of cabins: 4-berth cabin. Tourist trains also run VIP cabin where the upper berths are removed, allowing for more space and privacy for just 2 or 1 people. Travel time is approximately 8 hours5:30-6:00 am: Arrive Lao Cai train station. Pick up at the train station when you arrive and transfer to Sapa by a tourist shared bus.NIGHT 1: OVERNIGHT ON TRAIN FROM HANOI TO SAPA
    Sapa - Y Linh Ho - Lao Chai - Ta Van (B, L, D)
    : Sapa - Y Linh Ho - Lao Chai - Ta VanAround 06:30am, be greeted by our tour guide and driver upon arrival at Lao Cai train station, before being transferred to Sapa village, by a shared tourist bus. The bus ride uphill to Sapa takes a little over an hour, and will give you a glimpse of the stunning vistas and impressive rice terraces as you make this short trip.Once arriving in the hotel in Sapa, an early check in follows if room is available, otherwise in the interim, you will have access to a basic room for your refreshment, before enjoying breakfast prior to going on the morning tour.09.30 Start your tour with 6km of walking down to the South East of Sapa along the side of Muong Hoa valley to Y Linh Ho village, home of the Black H’mong people. Then continue with a 3km-trek down to Lao Chai village. Here we will stop for a simple lunch before exploring the village. After lunch, continue trekking through terraced rice fields to Ta Van, village of the Dzay minority people. This trek is relatively easy, though the trailcan be quite slippery if it rains, so good footwear is recommended.     Y Linh Ho Village
    Y Linh Ho Village: The Pristine Beauty of SapaY Linh Ho Village is the home to many small population ethnic groups scattered on the mountain slopes, and 2 of the most crowded minorities here are the Black H’Mong and the Dao individuals. Nowadays, the village is divided into 2 communes: Y Linh Ho 1 and Y Linh Ho 2. In each commune, there are about 100 households of Mong and Dao people currently residing.
    Lao Chai Village
    Lao Chai VillageSituated at southeast of Sapa town’s center, where black H’mong and Dzay people are living. It lies peacefully in a deep valley named Muong Hoa while embraced by marvelous ranges of Hoang Lien Son Mountain. With its irresistible temptation, will attract you at first sight.Moreover, a palette of fun awaits you in Lao Chai Village as you can have an opportunity of getting exposed to Vietnamese ethnic communities as well as taking selfies with stunning terraced fields.
    Ta Van Village
    Ta Van Village: a Peaceful Destination on the Side of SapaComing to Ta Van, where black H’mong and Dzay people are living, visitors not only see themselves in the picturesque scenery of nature with the murmuring sound of streams and the singing of wild birds calling you to find love but also enjoy the peaceful appearance of the village. Ta Van Village owns immense paddy fields on the hill slopes, rustic thatched houses of the ethnic minorities and narrow dirt roads with colorful flowers on the two sides. All the things combine with others to draw a stunning picture in a mountainous area. A visit to Ta Van village is a journey back to the past, where people and nature live together in harmony. This village has an immediately strange attraction for those who love travelling.

    Day 1 Giang Ta Chai Village

    Giang Ta Chai VillageGiang Ta Chai shares a border with Ta Van village – It’s a very special trekking route. Lao Chai – Ta Van – Giang Ta Chai. Giang Ta Chai village is home to the Red Dao who wear plain black trousers and a long black tunic with embroidered cuffs and lapels.
    Su Pan Village
    Su Pan Village Sapa is a very mountainous commune since it perches on the mountain. Being a part of the highland on the east side of the main road, it is about 17 km from Sapa town and Su Pan commune with its 4 small hamlets is home of the Black H’mong and Red ZaoCrossing the Muong Hoa River up to the mountain where is Su Pan village. Su Pan commune can be referred to as “mountainous commune”.
    Hanoi Arrival
    You will back to Ha Noi around at 6:00 am. Easy take taxi/Grab/car to your hotel on your owns.Then the tour finish.

    Day 2 Ta Van - Giang Ta Chai - Su Pan - Sapa

    : Ta Van - Giang Ta Chai - Su Pan - SapaAround 09:30am, after having had a restful night and enjoyable breakfast, it is time to take an 8 km walk to visit 2 villages of the red Dzao people, the H’mong who are located in Giang Ta ChaiSu Pan villages. Situated at the edge of Muong Hoa Valley, Giang Ta Chai is gaining popularity as one of the most scenic and interesting locations for visitors who enjoy experiencing the colorful traditional customs and costumes that are always on show here. While Supan is considered as a less travelled and more withdrawn village because of its small population base.There are breath taking and beautiful landscapes throughout this mountainous area, including a stunning waterfall, rattan bridges, and some exquisite ferns and orchids that drape from the overhanging branches of so much lush vegetation. After Giang Ta Chai and Su Pan visits, it is hard to have to leave this area, but we again have opportunity to do more exploration in Sapa town, so the bus ride allows some recovery time... and lots of photos and stories will no doubt be told on the brief ride back.Tour ends at around 15:00NIGHT 3: OVERNIGHT ON TRAIN FROM SAPA TO HANOI Trekking level: 5/10 Trekking: 8Km of trekking, 10Km of driving back to Sapa. Activities: Start the journey with a trek to Giang Ta Chai Village and Supan Village of the Red Dao and the H’mong people, which are located far from the center of Sapa but very attractive with coloful traditional costumes. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch Bus to Lao Cai train station

    What to Bring

    WHAT TO BRING - TO KNOW:

    Warm clothes, scarf, hat, cap because the weather in Sapa is pretty unpredictable. It is normally cold in September, October, November, December, January, February and March
    Due to altitude of Sapa, it is sometimes foggy in December, January, February and March.
    Trekking shoes, sun glasses, sun cream, insect repellent are also necessary. You should take cash with you in Vietnam Dong because banking system in Sapa sometimes doesn’t function well. US Dollar, Euro, Australia Dollar are accepted in Sapa.
    You should take medicine with you although there are some chemist’s shops in Sapa in case you get sick.

    Homestay is totally different from hotel due to its basic and simple facilities
    Its in local village: with basic single bed (hot water, mosquito net, blanket)
