This sapa tour is designed for travelers who want to experience 2 nights on the train and 1 night at hotel in Sapa Town. Save time by catching an overnight train from the capital. Arrive in the mountainous area the next day ready to hike through terraced countryside dotted with ethnic minority villages. Trek through the Muong Hoa Valley in the Hoang Lien Son Mountains to the hill tribe villages of the Hmong, Zay, and Red Zao peoples. Stay 1 night at Hotel in Sapa Town.

Day 1 Lao Cai - Sapa - Y Linh Ho - Lao Chai - Ta Van - Sapa (B, L, D)

Lao Cai - Sapa - Y Linh Ho - Lao Chai - Ta Van - Sapa (B, L, D)

Pick up at Lao Cai station and transfer to Sapa town. Have breakfast at hotel/restaurant and take a rest before the tour start.

At around 9:00 am, the tour will start from Sapa town, you will take a 7km of walking down to the south east of Sapa

along the side of Muong Hoa Valley to Y Linh Ho Village of the Black H’mong to see those sensual patterns of the terraces from above.

And then take 3km trekking down to Lao Chai Village, and 4 km through terraced rice fields to Ta Van Village of the Giay minority people.

Have a picnic lunch at local family, where you can see the local house architecture and witness local daily life styles and exclusive customs.

Enjoy the landscapes on the way until getting back to Sapa by jeep or motorbike in the afternoon and free at leisure the rest of the day until dinner.

Overnight at Hotel in Sapa.

Trekking: 10km of trekking, 8km of driving back to Sapa.

NIGHT 2: OVERNIGHT AT HOTEL IN SAPA TOWN

Day 2 Cat Cat - Sin Chai Village - Lao Cai - Ha Noi (B/L)

Visit Cat Cat - Sin Chai Village - Lao Cai Train Station - Ha Noi

In the morning, have breakfast at the hotel and then check out.

Take a walk down to the South-west of Sapa (around 3 km) to visit Cat Cat Village of the Black H’mong, one of the more well-known ethnic village of Sapa.

Relax at the foot of the stunning waterfall and the vestige of a hydroelectric power station that was constructed by the French during the colonial time in Vietnam.

Enjoy picnic lunch by the side of the river, and then continue trekking to 3 km to Sin Chai Village, located at the foot of Fansipan Mountain - “the Roof of Indochina”, where you enjoy a stunning landscapes of the mountain.

Then come back to the main road to be transferred to Sapa town on a jeep for 3km.

Take a fresh shower in the hotel before heading to Lao Cai train station for the night train back to Ha Noi.
