Amarante is a charming town DE the north of Portugal, located on the banks of the River Tâmega. It is known for its medieval bridge, the imposing Church and Monastery DE São Gonçalo – a local patron – and its picturesque streets filled DE traditional cafes and pastry. Famous for its convental sweets and hospitality, Amarante combines history, art and gastronomy in a romantic and quiet setting with beautiful views of the river and mountain range.

Step 4
Peso DA Régua is the main gate OF entry DA to the Douro Valley and the historic center of the production OF Porto wine. Situated by the river Douro, it is surrounded POR hills covered DE vineyards that offer stunning landscapes. The CI DA DE houses the Douro Museum, which tells the history and culture of the wine region, and has several farms, miradours and terraces overlooking the river. Peso DA Régua combines tradition, gastronomy and wine in a welcoming atmosphere, making it an ideal starting point to explore the Douro.
Step 5
Pinhão is the heart of the Douro Valley, a picturesque Villa surrounded POR vineyards and bathed by the river Douro. It is one of the main centers OF wine production of Porto and DOC Douro, with several historic farms that offer visits and wine tasting. The train station, DE corada with beautiful tiled panels depicting the life and vindimas in the region, is one of its greatest charms. Pinhão is the perfect place to relax, DE enjoy a river cruise and dive into the unique atmosphere of the Douro vineyard.
Step 6
Villa Real is an elegant town DE the north of Portugal, located between mountains and green valleys. Discover the Palácio de Mateus, one of the most beautiful works of Portuguese Baroque, surrounded POR magnificent gardens. The historic center combines tradition and modernity, with lively streets, mastery architecture and a strong cultural heritage. It is also an excellent gateway DE to the Douro and the Serras do Marão and Alvão, offering stunning landscapes and typical transmontaneous gastronomy.

- Regarding the time the collection, the customer decides at what time they want to start the journey, counting that a direct journey takes 2h00, no stops.
- As for the stops, we recommend about 1 hour in each city.
- 1 to 3 passengers are transported in a sedan.
- 4 to 8 passengers are carried out in a carriage the 9 seats. If you have a group of up to 3 passengers, but you have a lot of luggage, the indicate that they are 4 passengers (even if they are not) to be assigned the fare of a van.
