Itinerary

DAILY TOUR TO MUONG HOA VALLEY

9.00 AM - 9.15 AM: Depart from Sa Pa and walk along the main road, heading south for about 20 minutes. 

You will soon enter the Muong Hoa Valley and visit the Y Linh Ho village of the Black Mong tribe to interact with the locals and experience their everyday life at the market.

Later, arrive to the village of Lao Chai where you will get spectacular views of some of the most beautiful rice terraces in Vietnam. 

There you will enjoy lunch near the river and taste the local produce of the Black Mong community. 

Next, trek to Ta Van village and visit the local houses to learn more about the traditional crafts of the minority people, such as weaving and rice cultivation. 

You will later learn more about rural life and meet members of the Dzay tribe to learn of their customs and costumes with the Black Mong people. 

Finally, 14:30 take a bus back to Sa Pa, where you will be dropped off at the local office upon arrival.

15:00, tour ends by dropping you off at Sapa town.

Y Linh Ho Village

Y Linh Ho Village: The Pristine Beauty of Sapa
Y Linh Ho Village is the home to many small population ethnic groups scattered on the mountain slopes, and 2 of the most crowded minorities here are the Black H’Mong and the Dao individuals. Nowadays, the village is divided into 2 communes: Y Linh Ho 1 and Y Linh Ho 2. In each commune, there are about 100 households of Mong and Dao people currently residing.

Situated at southeast of Sapa town’s center, where black H’mong and Dzay people are living. It lies peacefully in a deep valley named Muong Hoa while embraced by marvelous ranges of Hoang Lien Son Mountain. With its irresistible temptation, will attract you at first sight.
